REFLECTION / THINGS I LIKE:
- Cruisey pace to the lesson - this relates to the students ability and keeping them relaxed in the classroom
- Teacher explains and explains the same thing. Does not move on from questions until everyone has indicated that they understand
- Very fast relations to students who break the peace
- No messing around, but a sense of humour
- Students are treated equally, names are on the board as soon as something happens
- When the students seem like they have had enough, the teacher responds by moving onto something different at the end of the lesson (youtube + Cahoots)
- Teacher expects silence and gets it. I must expect what I want and do it more clearly
- Relating the lesson to next years level one paper - re-enforcing that it is important to watch and learn from these lessons
- Relating the lesson and facts to real life things “your iPods etc”
- Referring to the level of the curriculum - nice
