Holiday tutorials

Everyone thought I was a fool, a dork and a chump for offering holiday workshops to the students. AND, to make matters worse, because I am in a long distance relationship I thought I was wasting my time that I could be sharing with my partner on a workshop that nobody would turn unto.

Oh! The numbers were good, and I am so thankful that I offered the holiday workshops after all. The students that came were thankful of the extra time. One student even bought me a chocolate as a thanks, how kind.

It was really nice to se the students outside of their school zone as well. It is easy to forget sometimes that these kids do want to do well, in spite of their facades sometimes. The kids that turned up worked hard, and worked well. The work they made while at the workshop was worthwhile and I think, benefiting from the extended time allowance in class.

The students got plenty done, and after all of the doubt, I am glad that the workshops went ahead.
