Whe I first started my job I thought it wise to send out a letter to parents and caregivers introducing myself to them as the new teacher of their child.

This was a really good idea not just becuase I thought so, but becuase I received feedback from at least 3 parents thanking me for doing so and saying it was a really nice way to introduce myself to them.

I am pleased because it was a little bit of work to do, but well worht it.

It is important for parents to know who is teaching their children.
