At Wellington High School there is a teacher there who gets amazing work out of his students.

His focus is on design, not so much on the tediousness of the construction / and the physics of the designs / the engineering features of the work. I have organised with him via email to visit his school and see a bit of his kids works.

His students are doing such explorative and creative works, I am jealous!!

He has given me a handout from another school that he uses in his classes. This handout shows students what they can do with a shape, and how they can use it towards a design. It actually comes at an uncanny time, because I was trying to create a resource that did just that - and here we are! Awesome :)

28.3.16 - UPDATE: Handed the resource out, students have made some bloody awesome pages!! COOL! They are using the sheets to create shapes and manipulate shapes into some very interesting forms. And hopefully, they can use the shapes they create to influence some fantastic concepts.

3.4.16 - UPDATE #2: Students are using their shapes from their sheets to create ideas. Some very interesting train of thoughts emerging, but it would have been beneficial to give them a limit maybe? Some of the sheets are beautiful, but their thinking is not linking back very strong with the 're-generation' part of the process.
