Tim

- reported back from network meeting in Napier of Monday. I asked Tim to give a brief

overview of the day so the others knew what to expect. Tim found it to be a good experience.

Observations

- Please arrange a curriculum observation and another

- Have received feedback from HoDs about progress to date in terms of meetings, etc.

Network Meeting

- Be wary of ‘dissing ‘ the school or colleagues. If you have issues that require voicing, see

GL or another trusted staff member

- Keep in mind - what can GL do to help you as you progress through the day

- Ash has yet to attend a Network meeting. Talk to RE about the 23rd. (GL)

Inquiry

- GL to see if the Inquiry books are ready to go for you to take next week

- A start will be made at Network meeting

Tutor Time

- in response to a request form a PRT and following on from the meeting on Tuesday morning, I asked if any of the PRTs had any worries or concerns, ideas about Tutor Time

Concerns / issues

- Clarification around diaries

- Teachers think consumption of food should be a teacher’s discretion – as to, use of phones

- During one:one times – what to do with the others

- Senior focus means the juniors lose out. Haven’t had time to get to know them as yet

- What to do with senior students who undermine what is happening in Tutor group? (WT)

- What is required for academic mentoring ?

- One teacher is feeling ‘lost & confused’

Useful activities

- P M I of the week

- From Pinterest - cross the river. Collaboration to get the team over the river

- Whizz – bang - wee

- Count 1 – 20

- Gotcha

- Heads Up

- Famous names – using the initial of the last name to keep it going

- Scattergories
