Year 9 Tech - Understanding the Curriculum Expectations of 'Brief Development'

Having been trained in Art and Design I have a few gaps in my knowledge of the Technology Curriculum. Luckily, there is a mighty force at school with a fantastic knowledge of EVERY aspect of the curriculum that can help me. And help me she did :)

I am teaching a unit to the year 9's at the moment that assess's their Brief Development skills. Currently, the unit is setup in a way that does not acknowledge the development of specifications from attributes. This is very important and needs to be added.

My lovely friend has gone through my unit, tinkered with it and created a 'what I should expect to see from my year 9's' response sheet. How fantastic!

She even took the time to explain and provide resources for me to help me understand the content.
