Feedback from the Year 9 Tech module - this was important for a number of reasons:

- It has communicated from the students how they feel about my teaching / care

- It has shown me that they know exactly what they need to be doing to improve their work, and they do know when they have been acting up / talking too much etc

- Points out the activities that the students find helpful to their learning

- What they have learnt in the module - even though the learning goal was Brief Development, the kids did not know this was their learning, they thought that their learning was the Tinkercad bit - the fun bit.

- Analysed me as a teacher, and how I appear to them. Overall, most students thought I was well organised, marks my work promptly, expects high standards, helps me by having good control of my class etc (refer to the list).

A few of the kids gave feedback that was around the lines of 'my teacher does not have high expectations', and 'my teacher does not care about my learning.'

In reflection, the kids that gave me this feedback were the ones that I growled a fair amount. I suppose the students are feeling their learning is neglected as I am focusing on their behaviour. I will make an effort to give them some positive attention after they have been growled for being eggs in future.
