Overall, the kids did alright. Most students passed, and there were a few merits scattered amongst them. Although I was not surprised with the results, it was still disappointing.

Overall, for 91037 - sketching, I will focus on:

- Getting the kids to do more sketches that show the function of the design

- Getting more sketches that show alot of detailing and intent of the design, such as the design in context and situ, the design exploded, sectioned off, sequential sketches that could show a process etc

- Rendering

- A range of ideas created from the initial exploration rather than just a single idea that leads off in one single direction

Overall, for 91034 - orthographic technical drawing, I will focus on:

- a section cut drawing on a separate page of one of the detailing constructions

- better line work - maybe not using a pen? the pen seemed to smudge last minute and create awful line work

- a larger scale drawing of the design

- a separate plan drawing that relates to the general elevations via. orthographic page

- each room on the plan needs to be labelled

- we need to spend more time practicing the techniques before the final drawing is expected. Since there are quite a few kids that have never done the subject before, they will need to have even more time to create these drawings - maybe they should skip the second project

Overall, for 91034 - parallel technical drawings, I will focus on:

- multiple drawings

- one initial drawing, then a second one where there is a cut-away or something else, maybe an exploded drawings?

- close up isometric details of the construction of the object

- better line work

- labelling and linking of the pages
